Jerry Lenig

Jerry Lee Lenig, of 208 Water St., New Berlin, entered into rest at 2:09 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2017, at his home.
He was born June 7, 1961, in Sunbury, a son of Cecile (Buffington) Lenig of Sunbury and the late Dallas Lenig. On May 20, 1995, in Selinsgrove, he married the former Donna M. Haines, who survives.
Jerry was a member of the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren, Mifflinburg.
He lived to provide for his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 22 years, are one daughter, Lisa Lenig and her fiancé Joe Anderson of South Carolina; one step-son, Randall C. Strahan, Jr. of Mifflinburg; three step-daughters and their husbands, Tracey S. and Steve Hagan of Middleburg, Monaca M. and Andy Hoffman of Mt. Pleasant Mills, and Angela L. and Derek Zimmerman of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Joy Lenig of Sunbury; and six grandchildren, Chase, Skylar, Anastasia, Avary, Sophie, and Lyncoln.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pamula Sue Franices, and Alice Lenig.
Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 29th, at the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren, 46 Brethren Church Rd., Mifflinburg where a memorial service to celebrate the life of Jerry will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Eric Reamer, officiating.
Interment will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park.
