Jona Brown

Jona L. Brown, 56, of Shamokin Dam, entered into rest Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

She was born August 18, 1966, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Alice Bickel of Lewisburg, and the late Frank Bickel.  On November 16, 1985, she married Mark A. Brown, who survives.

Jona was a 1984 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School.

She was employed at Temperance House, Lewisburg, and Vermin Foods, formerly in Northumberland.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Brown of Winfield, and John Brown of Shamokin Dam; three brothers, Dale Bickel and Roy Bickel of Lewisburg, and Frank Bickel of Danville; one sister, Barb Bickel of Danville; and three grandchildren, Michael Franklin Brown of Arkansas, Courtney Alice Brown of Arkansas, and Dallas Brown of Winfield.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
