Joseph Kline

It is with deep love and great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Joseph Charles Kline at age 64, who went to be with his Lord on February 18th, at his home in Mifflinburg, PA.

Joe was born on December 29, 1955, the youngest son of the late John A and Marian (Iddings) Kline.  He graduated from Mifflinburg High School in 1973.

He retired from Yorktowne Kitchens/ElKay Products in November 2018 where he had been an employee for many years. He made many friends there and enjoyed his job until his health caused him to retire early.

Joe loved his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his brother and sisters and their families.  He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt, watch football, baseball, Nascar and he liked to watch old western movies.

He leaves behind a son, Joseph C. Kline II, his wife Cristen and his only grandchild, Gabriel Thomas, Offot AFB, Nebraska; one brother, John A. Kline and wife, Constance of New Columbia; and two sisters, Linda and Roger Ross of Mifflinburg and Ruth and Roger Miller of Beaver Springs.  He had numerous nieces and nephews whom he was very fond of.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marian Kline and siblings, a sister, Donna Kay and brother Robert Glenn.

A gathering of family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 22, at the Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church at 954 Johnson Mill Road, Lewisburg, where a memorial service will be conducted at 11, officiated by Rev. Dan Hicks.

In honor of such a wonderful man whose life was cut short before his time, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church or SPCA of your choosing. Joe loved the church and animals.
