Joseph Reitmeyer

Joseph “Joe” Emery Reitmeyer, 64, of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 10:49 a.m., Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born September 30, 1960, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Joseph E. and Anita (Williams) Reitmeyer. 

He was a graduate of Milton High School.

Joe was employed at Vennari’s Pizza, Lewisburg, for 34 years.

He enjoyed riding his electric scooter around Lewisburg, where all the local business owners said he was a “staple” in the community. Joe was also known for his impressive movie collection. 

Surviving is one son, Joseph Reitmeyer, of Lewisburg; two daughters, Gina and Janet Reitmeyer, both of Mifflinburg. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Reitmeyer.

Family and friends are welcome Thursday, February 13, at the First Baptist Church, 51 S. Third St., Lewisburg, where the memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m., with Rev. MacKenzie Scott, officiating.
