Joyce M. Rivera, 64, Mifflinburg

Joyce Marie Rivera, 64, of 101 E. Walnut St., for the past 20 years, entered into rest at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

She was born March 3, 1950, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Fred S. and Luella K. (Herrold) Bingaman.

Joyce was a 1968 graduate of Mifflinburg High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

She was a volunteer for the Union County West End Ambulance, and worked at the Laurelton Post Office.

Joyce enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, crafts, bowling, and growing plants and flowers.

Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Ruth Nolan of Danville, and Michelle "Shelly" and Phil Allabaugh of Middleburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Carol Bingaman of Mifflinburg, and Ronald and Leslie Bingaman of Sunbury; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ruth and Al Sampsell of Milton, and Linda Englehardt of Millmont and her companion Charlie Hulsizer; one sister-in-law, Shirley Bingaman of Middleburg; four grandchildren, Tara Weber, Trisha Weber, Abby Nolan, and Erin Nolan; one great grandson, Liam Weber; and Joyce's companion, Ron Tamecki, of Irish Valley.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Bingaman.

Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.

Funeral services are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
