Karen Long

Karen L. Long, 62, of 734 S. Mill Rd., Milton, since 1997, entered into rest at 9:27 a.m., Friday, August 21, 2020, at home.

She was born March 25, 1958, in Sunbury, a daughter of Edward, Sr. and Judy (Sites) Scholl, of Sunbury.  On February 21, 1976, in Sunbury, she married Rick L. Long, who survives.

Karen was employed as a Registered Nurse at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, for over 20 years.

She attended Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, gardening, and mowing the yard.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Danny Dietrich of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward, Jr. and Linda Scholl of Sunbury; three sisters, Vicky Southwick of Georgia, Penny Myers of Sunbury, and Joni Scholl of North Carolina; and one granddaughter, Myah.

She was preceded in death by her son, Zachariah Long in 2003.

Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 26th, at the Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Rd., Milton, where the memorial service will be conducted at 2, with Pastor Mike Sweigard, officiating. Please enter at The Well Coffeehouse entrance.
