Karl Buchholtz, Jr.

Karl Buchholtz, Jr., 86, of Lewisburg, formerly of Galeton and Pottstown, entered into rest at 1:45 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2024, at home.

He was born January 28, 1938, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Karl Sr. and Anna L. (Gruno) Buchholtz. On October 17, 1982, in Germania, he married the former Barbara A. Mahon Watts, who survives.

He was the owner and operator of both Gregory Auto Refinishing, Pottstown, and Buchholtz Enterprises, Germania. Karl was then employed by Erie Insurance as a damage appraiser until retirement. 

Karl loved hunting and woodworking. 

Surviving in addition to his wife of 41 years, are two sisters and brother-in-law, Carol Yost and Nancy and Harry White; and one nephew, Brian Buchholtz. 

He was preceded in death by one brother; four sisters; and one brother-in-law, Bob Yost. 

Following Karl’s wishes, services will be held privately.
