Kathryn R. "Sissy" Schaeffer, 83, entered into rest at 8:45 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2012, at Rolling Hills Manor, where she had been a resident since 1995.
She was born April 10, 1929, in Centre County, a daughter of the late Nevin and Dorothy Schaeffer.
Sissy enjoyed sitting by the front door of Rolling Hills welcoming visitors. She collected baby dolls and had one special baby doll, Carol Ann, that was at her side at all times.
Sissy will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Funeral services will be conducted privately.
Funeral services are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
