Keith Shemory

Keith A. Shemory, 54, Lewisburg

Keith A. Shemory, 54, of 268 Zeigler Rd., entered into rest early Saturday morning, October 30, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born February 14, 1957, in Lewisburg, a son of Freeman and Anita (Benson) Shemory of Mifflinburg. On January 31, 1982, he married the former Ruth M. Loss, who survives.

Keith was employed at the Lewisburg Hotel, and formerly worked at Crest Homes, Milton.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and working on his pond at his home. Keith was a generous man, and enjoyed helping people.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 19 years, and parents, are five sons and one daughter-in-law, Keith A., Jr. and Nicole Shemory of Sunbury, Ammon A. Shemory of Milton, Brad L. Shemory of Lewisburg, Troy L. Shemory of Middleburg, and Joshua A. Shemory of Lewisburg; three daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa Shemory of Sunbury, Virginia A. and Alberto Lopez of New Columbia, and Heidi A. Shemory and his companion Scott Camp of Mifflinburg; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Rodney and Linda Shemory of Wilkes-Barre, Gerald Shemory of Selinsgrove, and Vincent and Rose Shemory of Mifflinburg; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Crystal Shemory of Northumberland, and Diamond and Ronnie Kolc of Wilkes-Barre; and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Freeman C. Shemory; and one brother, Freeman C. Shemory.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the First Baptist Church, 51 S. Third St., Lewisburg, with Rev. MacKenzie Scott, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
