Kim Marie Keefer Acy, 62, of Shenandoah, entered peacefully into rest at 2:05 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.
She was born August 8, 1961, in Lewisburg, on the wedding anniversary of her parents, Jeanne M. (Wagner) Keefer of New Berlin, and the late Wallace “Wally” L. Keefer, Sr.
Kim was a graduate of Lewisburg High School, and obtained her associate degree at Penn College, bachelor’s degree at Bloomsburg University, and master’s degree at Marywood University.
She was employed by the Department of Corrections, SCI Mahanoy, as a drug and alcohol treatment specialist, for 18 years until retirement in August 2023.
Kim enjoyed spending time with her family, going on vacations to the beach, and cuddling up with her kitties.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are one son, Jeffery Acy of Shenandoah; one daughter and her spouse, Brittney Buscavage and Crystal Helms of Northumberland; one grandson, Cole Levi Johnson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wallace, Jr. and Diane Keefer of Lewisburg, and Scot and Jane Keefer of Chester Springs; and five nieces.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Stan and Gladys (King) Wagner; and paternal grandparents, Walter G. and Valda (Beaver) Keefer.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road., Mifflinburg, where the memorial service will be conducted at 11.
