Lawrence “Larry” G. Hornberger, 81, of Selinsgrove, for the past 28 years, entered into rest at 10:05 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born July 14, 1943, in Philadelphia, a son of the late James and Margaret (Foss) Hornberger. On February 27, 1965, in Philadelphia, he married the former Lillie M. Gibbons, who preceded him in death September 30, 2016.
Lawrence was a graduate of Mastbaum High School, Philadelphia.
He was employed as a tool and die maker by Litton Industries, Clifton Heights, for 30 years.
Lawrence enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a member of the Twin Hollows Hunt Club, Elimsport.
Surviving are one son and two daughters-in-law, William Hornberger and partner Dani Bange of Hanover, and Rhonda Hornberger of Mazeppa; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Marti Hornberger of Lewisburg; and two grandchildren, Noah and his wife Katie Hornberger, and Julia Hornberger.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Hornberger; and one brother, Louis Hornberger.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Mt. Deliverance Cemetery, 2907 Pleasant View Rd., New Columbia, with Pastor Carl Varner, officiating.
