Leroy H. Yeager, 59, Mifflinburg

Leroy Harry "Butch" Yeager, 59, of 47 Lynn St., for the past 15 years, entered into rest at 12:05 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born June 27, 1951, in Lewisburg, a son of Lois Caroline (Kline) Yeager of Mifflinburg, and the late Harry Isaac Yeager.

Butch attended Mifflinburg Area High School.

He was employed as a custodian at the Buffalo Crossroads Elementary School. Earlier in life, he was employed at Yorktowne, Mifflinburg, the Laurelton Center, and Eastern Industries, Winfield.

Butch was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Hummels Wharf.

He enjoyed collecting coins, western movies, attending flea markets, and listening to country and blue grass music.

Surviving in addition to his mother, are one son and daughter-in-law, Matthew L. and Laurie A. Yeager of Milton; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne B. and Darcy Yeager of Sunbury; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Betty J. and Lear Herman of Selinsgrove, Judy A. Burger of Middleburg, Harriet E. and John Packer of Vicksburg, Joan M. and Paul Shatto of Sunbury, and Linda L. and Clair Newcomer of Mifflinburg; one grandson, Ryan J. Klinger of Sunbury; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Wayne S. Krell, officiating.

Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Leroy to the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701.
