MIFFLINBURG – Leslie Gay Cooper, 60, of 114 Fisher Circle, for the past 11 years, entered into rest at 9:25 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at her home.
She was born April 27, 1956, in Newark, New Jersey, a daughter of Robert J. and Edwina J. (Bregen) Tabit of Palm Coast, Florida. She and William E. Cooper were married for 25 years.
Leslie was a 1974 graduate of Lewisburg High School and later Penn State University.
She and her husband owned and operated Mike and Dots II, Mifflinburg, for 23 years. Earlier in life, she was employed at Selinsgrove Center and Laurelton Center.
Leslie was of the Christian faith.
She enjoyed cooking, collecting, her garden, and her dogs.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents, are one brother, Christopher Rob Tabit of Bowden, Georgia; one sister and brother-in-law, Kymberlee A. and Rob Nalumaluhia of Bishop Chalfant Valley, California; one son, Aaron M. Cooper of Monongahela; one daughter, Tracey Yohn of Enola; and 5 grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to a time of visitation from 5 to 6 p.m., Monday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where a memorial service will be conducted at 6, with Rev. John Yost, officiating.
