Lois M. Diehl

Lois M. Diehl, 89, of Mifflinburg, formerly of Lewisburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 7:16 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Oak Glen Nursing Home, Lewisburg.

She was born December 26, 1935, in Allenwood, a daughter of the late Albert and Dora (Bower) Troester. On February 19, 1955, she married her sweetheart Melvin J. Diehl, who preceded her in death November 13, 2021, after 66 years together. After marriage, they added three children to their family, Joann, Kenneth, and Douglas.

Lois was a 1953 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was an active member of Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, where she taught Sunday school for many years.

Lois was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She enjoyed camping, baking, and spending time with her family.

Lois’s friendliness and smile warmed the hearts of others.

Surviving are children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Mystie Rose.

A graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m., Thursday, March 27, at Lewisburg Cemetery, with Rev. David Dearing, officiating.
