Lois C. Robey, 90, Mifflinburg
Lois Caroline Robey, 90, of 47 Lynn St., since 1975, entered into rest at 12:05 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
She was born July 27, 1923, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Harry Kline and Renoda Zimmerman. In 1940, she married Harry Isaac Yeager, who preceded her in death in 1965.
Lois was employed at the Laurelton State School for 13 years.
She was a five generation grandmother. Lois loved Jesus, spending time with her family, and listening to gospel music.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne E. and Darcy L. Yeager of Sunbury; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Betty J. Herman of Selinsgrove, Judy A. Berger of Middleburg, Harriett E. and John Packer of Vicksburg, Joan M. and Paul Shatto of Elysburg, and Linda L. and Clair Newcomer of Mifflinburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Charles Caseman of Lewisburg; and numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Leroy Yeager; four brothers, Leroy Shettler, Harry Kline, Bill Swartzlander, and Gene Guyer; two sisters, Lorretta Grove, and Anne Leonard; and one son-in-law, Lear R. Herman.
Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m., with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
