Lucy H. Nolt

Lucy H. Nolt, 68, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 4:15 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born January 15, 1957, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Ella B. (Hoover) Martin. On February 21, 1985, in Lancaster County, she married Harold G. Nolt, who survives. She was a member of Scenic Ridge Old Order Mennonite Church.

Lucy enjoyed sewing quilts most of her life. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Paul E. Nolt of Mifflinburg; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Rosanne M. Nolt, Kristine L. Nolt, Elaine (Curvin) Zimmerman, all of Mifflinburg, and Darlene (Benjamin, Jr.) Stoltzfus of Mill Hall; three granddaughters, Juanita, Miranda, and Diana; eight brothers and sisters-in-law, Benjamin (Ethel) Martin of Mifflinburg, Thomas (Lydia) Martin of Mifflinburg, Edward (Lucy) Martin of Millmont, Emory (Eva Jane) Martin of Lititz, Abram (Grace) Martin of Geneva, NY, Jesse (Ella) Martin of Lititz, Arnold (Alta) Martin of Himrod, NY, and Obed (Linda) Martin of Dundee, NY; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anna Martin of Lititz, Lydia Ann (Leon) Newswanger of Shiloh, OH, and Mary (Linus) Sauder of Plymouth, OH.

She was preceded in death by one infant sister; and one sister-in-law, Irene Martin.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 13, at the Nolt residence, 395 Red Bank Rd., Mifflinburg. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Monday, April 14, at Scenic Ridge Church, 718 Beaver Road, Mifflinburg, with local ministry, officiating.

Interment will be in the Scenic Ridge Church Cemetery.
