Malik Mosley Knarr, 15, of 205 Hillside Dr., Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 8:58 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born July 22, 2002, in Philadelphia, a son of Bob “Pap” D., Sr. and Sandy “Nan” (Huntington) Knarr.
Malik was in the 8th grade at Mifflinburg Area Middle School where it was his job to go get the newspaper every morning for Mr. Bob. He enjoyed traveling on CBT’s (Community Based Trainings).
He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family. Malik danced with his niece Erin at her and Kevin’s wedding in Colorado.
Malik was given three months to live at birth, but his family and friends were blessed with fifteen years with Malik.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are one sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Phil Walter of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Bonnie Knarr of Middleburg; nieces and nephews, Kevin and Erin Walter, Eric and Rachel Walter, Kirstyn and Dan Myers, Landon and Sarah Walter, Gilbert, Ryheem, Malik, and Sara Walter, Christifer and Amanda Hurlburt, DiAnne and Ryan Beiler, and Shanel and Devin Hood; and many great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his family, the Bayada Agency and Malik’s personal nurses were very important in his life.
Malik’s legacy will live on in others through his donation to gift of life.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren, 46 Brethren Church Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 7, with Pastor Eric Reamer, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
