Margaret "Maggi" E. Harvey, 67, Mifflinburg
Margaret "Maggi" E. Harvey, 67, of 1724 Pine Bark Lane since 2000, entered into rest at 10:27 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2009, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, where she had been a resident for the past 9 weeks.
She was born December 7, 1941 in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Stewart and Charlotte E. (Knouse) Moeller. On August 5, 1994, she married Charles R. Harvey, who survives.
Maggi was a 1959 graduate of Sunbury High School.
She was employed at the Northumberland Hook and Ladder Co.
Maggi was a life member of the Point Township Fire Co.
She enjoyed needle point and crocheting.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are two daughters and one son-in-law, Susan A. Howard of Chestertown, MD, and Georgene C. and Dennis R. Vanatta of Mifflinburg; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Stewart A. Derr on January 16, 2003; and one grandson, Matthew A. Howard.
There will be no public funeral service. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday December 5, 2009, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
