Marie Z. Delcamp, 92, of 105 Mifflin Place, formerly of Main St., Hartleton, entered into rest at 4:35 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2020, at home.
She was born June 5, 1928 in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Elias and Maude (Zellers) Mook. She was adopted by Elmer and Jenny Zellers. Marie was raised by John and Sarah Steffen. On December 6, 1951, in the Forest Hill United Methodist Church, she married Leon L. Delcamp, who preceded her in death on April 12, 2011.
Marie attended Red Bank Schoolhouse.
She was a member of Mifflinburg Assembly of God.
Marie was employed at Textile Silk Mill, was a bookkeeper for Leon’s contracting business, and they owned and operated the Hartleton Flea Market for many years.
She enjoyed baking, canning, crocheting, and playing the organ for church and at the Laurelton Center. She was a member of 4H Club.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Sheryl Delcamp of Ocala, Florida, Wayne and Linda Delcamp of Middleburg, and Elwood and Barbara Delcamp of Miffinburg; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Johnny Blake, officiating.
Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
Those in attendance are recommended to wear masks and social distancing will be in effect.
