Mark Botts

LEWISBURG – Mark A. Botts, 43, of 121 Wildlife Lane, for 29 years, entered into rest at 12:38 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Harrisburg Pinnacle Hospital.
He was born March 15, 1971, in Lewisburg, a son of Sarah J. (Lilley) Botts of Lewisburg and Dale L. Botts of Florida.
Mark was a 1989 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He was employed as a police officer at Oliver Township Police Department, Newport.
Mark was a member of the William Cameron Engine Company, Lewisburg, where he was the Fire Chief and volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician.
He enjoyed hunting, and going on fishing trips to Canada.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Matthew and Stevee Botts of Milton, and Brian and Brandy Botts of White Deer; many nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Ariel Brant of Duncanon.
Family and friends are welcome from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.
Burial will be in the Mazeppa Union Cemetery.
