Mark Shallenberger

MIFFLINBURG – Mark “The Rock” Edward Shallenberger, 54, of 6295 Old Turnpike Rd., entered into rest at 7:15 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016, at a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born March 7, 1962, in McKees Rocks, a son of the late Van E. and Tanya L. (Petrovich) Shallenberger. On June 30, 2012, he married the former Wendy S. Stahl, who survives.
Mark was a 1981 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He was employed at Ritz-Craft, Mifflinburg, for 31 years.
Mark enjoyed working, gardening, his dog “Moomoos”, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, Nathan R. Shallenberger of Mifflinburg, and Ryan L. Shallenberger of Millmont; one daughter, Michelle K. Shallenberger of Gallipolis, Ohio; two step-daughters, Toshia Feaster of Mifflintown, and Tianna Phillips of McClure; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan E. and JoAnn Shallenberger of Milton, Bruce E. and Lucinda Shallenberger of Lewisburg, and James E. and Tammy Shallenberger of Middleburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Judith Ann and Michael Walter of Millmont; five grandchildren, Theodore, Kaydon, Jayden, Kamryn, and Maisyn; and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where a the funeral service will be conducted at 8, with Pastor Richard DeVett, officiating.
