LEWISBURG – Mary Louise Gingrich, 88, of 411 N. 10th St., entered into rest at 10:25 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Watsontown Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born September 9, 1926, in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Todd Henry and Jean Belle (Roadarmel) Reigel. On December 29, 1949, in Lewisburg, she married Clyde A. Gingrich, who preceded her in death February 2, 2005.
Mary was employed at Bucknell University as a cashier.
She enjoyed birdwatching from her porch, word searches, and jig saw puzzles.
Surviving are one son, David Gingrich of Milton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Della and Michael Smith of State College, and Donna Gingrich of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Dr. Stephanie Smith of Rockview, Maryland, Amanda Gingrich of Watsontown, Brittany Gingrich of Watsontown, and Chad and his wife Sarah Gingrich of Lewisburg; one great grandson, Oliver Satteson; one brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Bonnie Reigel of Hagerstown, Maryland; three sisters, Pauline Mason of Shortsville, New York, Nona Morrow of Sodus, New York, and June Ellis of Canandaigua, New York; and one half-sister, Dolly McPherson of Clear Springs, Maryland.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys, Betty, and Pearl.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
