Mary Y. Yoder, 92, Lewisburg

Mary Y. Yoder, 92, of 330 Hospital Dr., for the past 24 years, went home to be with her Lord at 7:17 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2014, at her home.

She was born September 4, 1921, in Belleville, a daughter of the late Noah Z. and Nancy Hostetler. On December 9, 1943, she married Christie S. Yoder, who preceded her in death November 1, 1995.

Mary attended Little Beaver School in Enon Valley.

She was a homemaker.

Mary was a member of the Vicksburg Mennonite Church.

Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Anna R. and Lee Huston of Enon Valley, and Naomi Yoder of Lewisburg; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Urie C. and Bonnie Yoder of Penns Creek, Daniel L. and Connie Yoder of Mountain View, Missouri, and Seth C. Yoder of Enon Valley; two sisters, Betsy Yoder of New Wilmington, and Naomi Hostetler of Tyrone; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel, Noah, and Josie Hostetler.

Family and friends are welcome from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Vicksburg Mennonite Church, 31 Strickler Rd., where the funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, with ministers Titus Hostetler and Anthony Miller, officiating.

Burial will be in the Vicksburg Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
