Mervin "Merv" Liegey

Mervin “Merv” Liegey, 72, of Milton, entered into rest Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born June 14, 1952 in Clearfield, a son of the late Howard and Dora (Shilling) Liegey. On December 31, 1993, he married the former Susan Kay Reamer, who survives.

Merv was a 1972 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.

He was employed at Springs Window Fashions, Montgomery.

Merv enjoyed woodworking and playing with the dogs.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 31 years, is one daughter and son-in-law, Jodi Liegey Rinker and Bill; one brother, Stanley Liegey; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Melissa Yetter; 2 grandchildren, Jacqueline and Andrew Rinker; and 9 step-grandchildren, Sabrina, Owen, Sarah, Tyler, Karen, Damien, David, Abby and Kash Yetter;

He was preceded in death by one brother, David Liegey.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:30 to 11 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2025, at Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where a memorial service will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Ruben Aruba, officiating.
