Michael Erb

Michael G. Erb, 64, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 10:56 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born September 28, 1960 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Glen Erb and Anna V. (Walter) McFarland. On August 19, 1995, he married the former Sadie Rathfon-Erb, who preceded him in death September 29, 2009.

Michael was a 1978 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was employed as a truck driver for Bestway Transportation, Virginia.

Michael served in the US Marine Corps from 1978 until his honorable discharge in 1982.

He enjoyed playing pool, watching tv, his cats, and enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Surviving is one brother, Scott McFarland of Forest Hill; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Debra and Ronald Tyson and Kelly Ulrich, all of Forest Hill; three nieces, Jamie Miller, Brianna Ulrich, and Mikayla McFarland; and one nephew, Steve Heimbach.

Services will be held privately.
