Monica C. Bartlett

Monica Christina Bartlett, 27, of New Berlin, passed away peacefully in her sleep due to complications of Rett’s Syndrome, at 9:10 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2024, at home.

She was born August 20, 1997, in Williamsport. On March 2, 2007, her fairy god mother, Deb Hurwitz, brought her as a foster child to the home of Dave and Pearl (Staniszewski) Bartlett, of New Berlin, who adopted Monica on November 12, 2008.

Monica was a 2019 graduate of Mifflinburg high school.

She enjoyed retail therapy, swimming, traveling to Disney, Knoebel’s, and Ocean City, Maryland, with her family and friends. 

Surviving in addition to her parents are her paternal grandfather, George Bartlett of Millmont; cousins; and many caregivers and friends.

Family and friends are welcome from 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, November 16, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where the celebration of Monica’s life will be conducted at noon. Casual dress is encouraged.
