Myron Shuck

On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, our beloved father, husband, and grandfather, Myron L. Shuck, of Mifflinburg, went to be with his Lord, at his home.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 24, at Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church, Lewisburg, officiated by Rev. Daniel Hicks.

He was born on June 20, 1934 in Mifflinburg, son of the late Theodore D. and Miriam E. (Kelly) Shuck.  On April 8, 1995, he married the former Frances Ernestine Ross Bridge, who survives.

Myron was a 1952 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was engaged in farming his entire life.

Myron was a member of the Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church, Lewisburg.

He was a member of Rapid Run Rod & Gun Club, Mifflinburg, Union County Sportsmen’s Club, Weikert, and Mifflinburg Masonic Lodge, where he was a 50 year member.

Myron will be greatly missed by his children, Janice (Lance) Wagner, Millmont, Dianne Shuck, Mifflinburg, and Greg (Teresa) Shuck, Mifflinburg; grandchildren Chad (Amy) Shuck, Kevin (Autumn) Shuck, Brandi (Jason) Zimmerman, all of Mifflinburg; brothers Kenneth (Anna Mae) Shuck, Roger (Nancy) Shuck, all of Mifflinburg; sister Helen (John) Benfer, Mifflinburg; 10 great grandchildren; 3 stepchildren Carol (Cliff) Rhule, Sunbury, Ruth (Mike) Troup, Mifflinburg, Gregory (Laura) Bridge, Lewisburg; numerous step grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Russell K. Shuck.

He will sadly be missed by his dogs, Colorado and Dakota, and the Breakfast Club that would get together regularly at Boomerangs.
