Lewisburg – Nancy E. Wagner, 82, formerly of Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 6:10 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2015, at Riverwoods.
She was born December 20, 1932, in Cowan, a daughter of the late John and Alma (Zimmerman) Wagner.
She graduated Mifflinburg High School in 1950.
Nancy was employed as a secretary in Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
She loved animals, especially the therapy dogs at Riverwoods and was affectionately called the Mayor of Riverwoods by Dr. Spotts.
She attended the Mifflinburg Alliance Church.
Surviving are a brother, Jack Wagner of Mifflinburg; a sister, Lucille Wagner of Mifflinburg; a sister-in-law, Beverly Wagner of Lewisburg; 11 nieces and nephews, Gordon Wagner, Kathy Ross, Scott Wagner, Craig Wagner, Valerie Gross, Melanie Zickgraf, Matthew Wagner, John Wagner, Alan Wagner, Eric Wagner, Pamela Wagner and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Nelson, Ned and Wilbur Wagner.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, with Rev. Donald Hewlett, officiating.
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
Family will provide flowers and suggest memorial gifts to be made to the Therapy Dog Service, Hospice of Evangelical, 235 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
