Ned I. Weaver, 78, 353 Pardee Rd., Milmont, since 1973, entered interest at 4:44 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020, at his home.
He was born December 5, 1941, in Shamokin Dam, a son of the late Donald V. and Helen (Roth) Weaver. On August 10, 1968, in Sunbury, he married the former Janet Getkin, who survives.
He was a 1960 graduate of Selinsgrove high school.
Ned served in the army during Vietnam until his honorable discharge.
He was employed as a construction superintendent at T Ross Brothers, Keister Construction, R.S. Mowery and Son, and Zartmans.
Ned was a member of the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton, where he was Chair of Trustees.
He enjoyed hunting, gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his grandkids.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 52 years, our two sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew A. and Jennifer Weaver of Millmont, Jeremy E. and Gretchen Weaver of Montandon; and four grandchildren, Samantha Weaver, Aaron Weaver, Cheyenne Attinger, and William Weaver.
He was preceded in death by one brother Donald; and two sisters Catherine Hafer and Dorothy Auman.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 7th, at the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Samantha McElwee, officiating.
Burial will be in the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery with military honors accorded by the American Legion Post 410 and VFW Post 1964, both of Mifflinburg..
