Patricia B. Boop

Patricia “Pat” B. Boop, 86, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 5:50 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2024, at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville.

She was born September 12, 1937, in Gaines, New York, a daughter of the late Charles R. and Grace A. (Kratzer) Bowersox.  She was married to Clair R. Boop, who preceded her in death December 13, 2017.

Pat was a 1955 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School.

She was employed at Rea & Derrick’s, People’s, and CVS, Mifflinburg, and she and her husband owned and operated Clair R. Boop Excavating, Mifflinburg.

Pat enjoyed strolling around the nursing home and spending time outside.  Before her dementia illness, she enjoyed going out to eat with her friends, traveling to Florida, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy M. Marshall of Hanover, and Kerry L. Wagner of Lewisburg; two grandchildren, Jasmine M. Marshall, and Austin C. Wagner; three great grandchildren, Sunshine C. and her husband Nick Judd, Kelynne Stoltzfus, and Reed Marshall; one great-great grandson, Mason Judd; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Willard P. and June Bowersox of Mifflinburg, Eugene G. and Joanne Bowersox of Waynesboro, and Robert P. and Cheryl Bowersox of Selinsgrove.

She was preceded in death by one grandaughter, Jamie L. Stoltzfus; and one brother, Donald R. Bowersox.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, and from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Randall C. Fiske, officiating.

Burial will be in Mifflinburg Cemetery.
