Patricia A. Zimmerman, 82, Lewisburg

Patricia A. Zimmerman, 82, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 6:20 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, where she had been a resident since November 26, 2001.

She was born September 20, 1929, in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Harrison and Jennie (Noll) Schrader. On August 5, 1946, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she married Ralph W. Zimmerman, who survives.

Patricia was a member of the class of 1947 at Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, Laurelton State School, and at the United Methodist Home, Lewisburg.

Patricia was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Mifflinburg, for 80 years, where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir.

She enjoyed RV camping with her husband and was a member of the Scottie Club.

Patricia was a member of the Order of Easter Star, Mifflinburg.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 65 years, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Kerwyn S. and Susan Zimmerman of Warrington, and R. Kurtis and Linda Zimmerman of New Berlin; one daughter and son-in-law, Karla D. and Ronald Fabian of Leesport; 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Jenifer Fabian of Chicago, Deanna and Ralph Herman of Birdsboro, Abby Zimmerman of Warrington, Chelsea Zimmerman of Warrington, Katrina and Ross Mitchell of Millmont, and Melissa and Justin Laidacker of Lewisburg; and 4 great grandchildren, Madeline Herman, Rachel Herman, Ava Mitchell, and Emma Mitchell.

Family and friends are welcome from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m., with Rev. Susan Gabbard, officiating.

Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
