Paul Raymond Boob, 89, of 8591 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, since the 1940’s, entered into rest at 12:50 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Rolling Hills Manor, where he had been a resident since November 2013.
He was born May 7, 1927, in Spring Mills, a son of the late Raymond Paul and Carrie Mae (Neese) Boob. On October 31, 1947, he married the former Mary E. Stover, who preceded him in death in 1995.
Paul was employed in maintenance at Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg, for over 40 years.
He was a life member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsmen’s Club, Mifflinburg.
Paul enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and driving his tractors.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Steven P. and Mo Thi Boob of Mifflinburg; two granddaughters, Samantha K. and David Heddings of Mifflinburg, and Patricia A. and George Reese of Cranberry Township; four great granddaughters, Alicia Heddings, Amanda Klauger Boob, Mary Reese, and Sydney Reese; three great-great grandchildren, Ava, Amelia, and Emmett; one brother, James R. Boob of Marysville; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy J. and Elmer of Bellefonte; and his companion for the past 20 years, Wanda Spigelmyer.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley G., William N., and John F. Boob; and one sister, Ella B. Zerby.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Paul will be announced at a later date.
