Paul H. Martin, 83, Lewisburg

Paul Hoover Martin, 83, of 3610 Buffalo Rd., since 1974, entered into rest at 3:35 a.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Kramm Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Milton.

He was born November 14, 1929, in New Holland, a son of the late Abram Z. and Anna (Hoover) Martin. On November 18, 1954, in Lancaster County, he married Ella Mae Martin, who survives.

Paul was a self-employed farmer his entire life.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 58 years, are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dawn Martin of New Berlin, and Alvin E. Martin of London; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Pauline and Daniel Reiff of Lewisburg, Ruth Ann and Peter Bunton of Lititz, Linda and Daniel Meuleners of Harleysville, and Kathy Persun of Mifflinburg; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Abram H. and Mabel Martin of Latham, Missouri, Alvin H. and Ada Martin of Shiloh, Ohio, Isaac H. and Eva Martin of Fortuna, Missouri, and Jonathan H. and Ada Martin of New Holland; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary H. and Elmer Burkholder of Leola; two sisters-in-law, Mary Martin of New Holland, and Sarah Martin of Versailles; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ben F. Martin, and C. Walter Martin.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.

A private graveside service will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
