WATSONTOWN - Paul Raymond Zyry, 69, of Kramm Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center since 1999, formerly of Coal Township and Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at the nursing home.
He was born June 11, 1940, in Shamokin, a son of the late Michael and Kathryn (Weinhoffer) Zyry.
Paul was educated in Coal Township schools.
He was a member of St. George Mission Church, Mifflinburg.
Surviving are one sister, Barbara A. Zyry, of Mifflinburg; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Zyry, of Watsontown, and Michael and Darlene Zyry, of Middleburg; two nieces, Ruth and her husband, Mark Nolan, of Mifflinburg, and Michelle and her husband, Phil Allabaugh, of Middleburg; and four grandnieces, Abby and Erin Nolan and Tara and Trish Weber, all of Mifflinburg.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Louise Zyry.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. George Mission Church, 999 Forest Hill Road, Mifflinburg, with Monsignor William Richardson as celebrant.
Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg, at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul's memory to the Kramm Residents Fund, 245 E. Eighth St., Watsontown, PA 17777.
Funeral arrangements are by the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg.
