Pauline Walter

Pauline E. Walter, 102, of 6785 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, for 61 years, entered into rest at 1:54 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Riverwoods, where she was a resident since 2013.

She was born March 1, 1916, in Hartley Township, a daughter of the late Ruben R. and Cora E. (Oister) Zimmerman.  On April 19, 1934, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she married Lloyd A. Walter, who preceded her in death in 1994.

Pauline attended the Reed’s School, Lewisburg.

She was employed at the JPM Co., Lewisburg, for 16 years, and earlier in life at Dodson Enterprise Tupperware Company, Selinsgrove.

Pauline was a member of the Mifflinburg Nazarene Church since 1950, where she was a member of the adult class.

She was a former member of the Rambler’s Club, Lewisburg.

Pauline enjoyed yardwork, flowers, crocheting afghans for family and friends, making fleece throws, arts and crafts, animals, and spending time with her good neighbors.

Surviving are four grandchildren and their spouses, Kathy Romig of Selinsgrove, Fawn and Gary Libby of Millmont, Teresa Walter of Mifflinburg, and Jerry and Sonia Walter of New Columbia; 14 great grandchildren; 24 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Marlin E. Walter, and Kenneth A. Walter; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Walter; three brothers, Clarence, Lester, and Robert Zimmerman; and three sisters, Helen Zimmerman, Rosella Keister, and Dorothy Zimmerman.

Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2, with Rev. Wayne Krell, officiating.

Burial will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
