Peter G. Beck, 84, Mifflinburg

Peter G. Beck, 84, of 203 Meadowlark Lane, since 2002, entered into rest Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at his home.

He was born February 22, 1929, in Trenton, New Jersey, a son of the late Frank and Anna (Velvis) Bieksza. On September 5, 1953, in Luzerne, he married the former Dorothy A. Yurchalk, who preceded him in death May 22, 2013.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, David P. and Denise Beck of Morgantown; two daughters and one son-in-law, Janice and Peter E. Luisi of Kunkletown, and Sandra A. Beck of Groveville, NJ; five grandchildren, Angela DiCrecchio, Erica Luisi, Samantha Kopec, Peter A. Luisi and Jaclyn Luisi; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Bieksza and Paul Bieksza; and one sister, Jean Pietris.

Family and friends are welcome for a time of visitation from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Monday, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon at the St. Vicent DePaul Church, 555 Allentown Rd., Yardville, NJ, with Rev. Stanley Krzyston, celebrant.

Burial will be in the Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
