Rachel Lohr

Rachel L. Lohr, 81, of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 6:05 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2020, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

She was born January 24, 1939 in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Hugh and Lena (Aikey) Aikey.

Rachel was a 1955 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed at Quaker Manufacturing.

Rachel was a member of the former Forest Hill United Methodist Church.

Before becoming ill, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Rich Reitenbach of Mifflinburg, and John Reitenbach of Williamsport; one daughter, Lena Baumer of Lewisburg; one daughter-in-law, Donna Reitenbach; two brothers, Clarence and Howard Aikey; four sisters, Vera Kreisher, Anna Mook, Nancy Crossgrove, and Bonnie Schell; 10 grandchildren, John Reitenbach, Jr., Mark Reitenbach, Crystal Koppen, Alan Wolfe, Jr., Angela Anspach, Kristi Baker, and Ty, Adam, Rebecca and Nathaniel Reitenbach; five step-grandchildren, Lisa Baskin, Tanya Lilley, Kevin Herrold, Jessica Jordan, and Timothy Baumer; 24 great-grandchildren, Ross and Lyvia Baker, Brooklyn Wade, Rylie Anspach, Landon Anspach, Deja Neidig, Camren and Laramie Reitenbach, Brynlee, Spencer, and Lucas Jordan, Avery and Connor Baumer, Selah, Brooke, Charles, and Katy Reitenbach, and Zack Koppen, Christopher and Samantha Jones, Cassie and Emma Herrold, and Brenna and Maci Lilley; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger J. Reitenbach, Sr., and her second husband, John Lohr; one son, Roger J. Reitenbach, Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Reitenbach; one son-in-law, James Baumer; three sisters, Sarah Oberdorf, Amelia Hanselman, and Edna Oberdorf; and three brothers, Galen, Mervin, and Hugh Aikey Jr.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
