Regis I. Snook, 80, Millmont

Regis I. Snook, 80, of 1090 Lincoln Chapel Rd., since 1950, entered into rest Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Georgia.

She was born May 20, 1931, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Nolan and Pauline (Woodling) Musser. On May 19, 1950, in Burnham, she married George B. Snook. He preceded her in death November 5, 1995.

Regis attended the Burnham schools.

She was a member of the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton, for over 50 years.

Regis was employed at Yorktowne Kitchens, Mifflinburg, for 25 years, until she retired in 1996.

She enjoyed flower gardening and doing yardwork at her home, baking bread and cooking for her family, canning foods, tending to her chickens, and visiting people in area nursing homes.

Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Steven N. and Alisa Snook of Lewisburg, David L. and Pat Snook, John D. Snook, and Eric A. and Daphne Snook, all of Millmont; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie E. and Michael McQuinn of Altus, Okla., and Lisa A. and Anthony Williams of Woodstock, Georgia; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sandra Royer of Lewistown, Nola and Donnie Laird of Lewistown, Shirley and Glenn Felmlee of Burnham, and Thelma Shotzburger of Lewistown; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and John Musser; and one sister, Phyllis Reese.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton, with Pastor Richard DeVett, officiating.

Burial will be in the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.
