Richard "Dick" E. Kulp

Richard “Dick” Eugene Kulp, 75, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest peacefully at 10:46 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family, after a brief illness.

He was born November 30, 1948, in Williamsport, a son of the late Chester and Ardena (Heltman) Kulp.  On March 21, 1970, in Mazeppa, he married the former Peggy A. Smith, who survives.

Rich was employed at Conagra, Milton, for 42 years.

He was a member of the Central PA Vintage Iron Club.

Rich enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing practical jokes, car rides to his farm in Loganton, and time with his dogs.  He loved his family and  especially enjoyed attending the West End Fair to watch is grandchildren and great grandchildren show animals.

Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 54 years, are daughter, Heidi Kulp, and her companion, Wendy Trewitz, of Mifflinburg; daughter, Tammy Rhyne, and son in-law, Darren Rhyne, of Mifflinburg; three grandchildren, Ashley Kulp, Travis Kulp, and Paige Rhyne, and her fiancé, Preston Hosterman; two great grandchildren, Willow Nogle and Oliver Nogle; and one sister and brother-in-law, Liz and Earl Weaver, of Loganton; brother in-law, Dale Neese, of Howard; sister in-law, Jackie Kaler of Mifflinburg; brother in-law and sister in-law, Gene and Winnie Smith, of Winfield; and brother-in-law, Paul Kaler of Lewisburg.

He was preceded in death by one brother, LaRue Kulp; and five sisters, Hazel Boone, Jeanie Lamey, Mabel Welshan, Dorothy Neese, and Jane Auman.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 3 p.m., Monday, March 4, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 3, with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.

Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
