Robert E. Criswell, Sr., 77, of 767 Walbash Rd., Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 12:18 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at home.
He was born March 31, 1947, in Sunbury, a son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Shamp) Criswell. On July 26, 1967, in Lawton, Oklahoma, he married the former Linda Aikey, who survives.
Robert served in the Army during Viet Nam from March 31, 1965 until his honorable discharge May 22, 1973, and then served in the Army National Guard until his honorable discharge November 22, 1979.
He was employed at ACF Industries, Milton, for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 57 years, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E., Jr. and Kellie Criswell of Selinsgrove, and Donald L. and Tina Criswell of Mifflinburg; one daughter, Lori L. Criswell and her fiancé Robert Bartlett of Mifflinburg; four grandchildren, Dustin, Nichole, Robert, and Madeline Criswell; and one great grandson, Kaden Vaughn.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Criswell.
Funeral services will be private.
