Robert Hoffman

Robert L. Hoffman Jr. 82, of 467 Fairground Road, Millmont, entered into rest at 2:09 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2020, at Heritage Springs Memory Care, Lewisburg, after a difficult battle with Alzheimers.

He was born November 17, 1937 in Coatesville, the eldest of six children of the late Robert L. Hoffman Sr. and Ruth (Bradford) Hoffman. On January 19, 1957, he married the former J. Elaine Kimes, who entered into rest February 24, 2020. Robert and Elaine celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year.

Robert was a devoted husband and wonderful father. Robert enjoyed fishing, spending time with his three granddaughters, and riding his lawn mower. He was often seen at the numerous local fairs eating hamburgers and french fries.

Robert was employed for 32 years, and retired from Lukens Steel Company, Coatesville.

Surviving are one son, Brian K. Hoffman of Millmont; three granddaughters, Porsche Anslinger of Hampton, VA., Bianca Hoffman of Millmont, and Elena Hoffman of West Chester; two grandsons, Lukas Anslinger and Trenton Anslinger; one brother, Paul Hoffman of Strasburg; and one sister, Sandy Steen of Pomeroy.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny, Jeff, and Phil Hoffman.

A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be held at11:00 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2020 at Hepzibah Baptist Cemetery in Coatesville.
