Robert F. Zyry, 67, Watsontown
Robert Francis Zyry, 67, passed away at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Watsontown Rehabilitation Center, where he had been a resident for 19 years.
He was born October 27, 1944, in Shamokin, a son of the late Michael and Kathryn (Weinhoffer) Zyry.
Robert was educated in the Coal Township schools.
He was employed at Yorktowne, Mifflinburg, for 19 years.
Surviving are one sister, Barbara A. Zyry of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Darlene Zyry of Middleburg; two nieces and their husbands, Ruth and Mark Nolan of Mifflinburg, and Michelle and Philip Allabaugh of Middleburg; and four grandnieces, Abby and Erin Nolan, and Tara and Trisha Weber.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul R. Zyry; and one sister, Ruby Louise Zyry.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the St. George Church, 775 Forest Hill Rd., Mifflinburg, with Monsignor William Richardson, celebrant.
Interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg, at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide the flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Resident Fund, at the Watsontown Rehabilitation Center, 245 E. 8th St., Watsontown, PA 17777.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
