Rodney W. Emery

Rodney W. Emery, 76, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 9:07 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born September 25, 1948 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Forrest C. and Edna Mae (Jolly) Emery. He married the former Joan E. Miller, who survives.

Rodney was a 1966 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was employed at Ritz-Craft, and earlier in life was a bartender at Mifflinburg Moose Lodge 1396. 

Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering in the shop, and gardening. 

Surviving in addition to his wife of over 50 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, Jim Emery and Gretchen Powell of Mifflinburg; step-daughter and spouse, Barbara and Mark Culton of Harleysville; step-son and spouse, Tom and Allison Yocum of Mooresville, North Carolina; and one sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Rick Endy of Mifflinburg.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2025, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where the memorial service will be conducted at 11, with Rev. John Yost, officiating.
