Rose Wilson
September 2, 1924 — December 12, 2016
MIFFLINBURG - Rose L. Wilson, 92, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest Monday afternoon, December 12, 2016, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born September 2, 1924, in Weikert, a daughter of the late James D. and Bertha (Goodlander) Bilger. On July 1, 1942, she married Robert F. Wilson, who preceded her in death April 30, 1991.
Rose was a 1942 graduate of Laurelton High School.
She was employed as an attendant at the Laurelton Center for 15 years, and later at American Home Foods, Milton, for over 20 years.
Rose was a lifelong member of the Mifflinburg Church of the Nazarene.
She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Larry J. and Carol F. Wilson of Millmont; one daughter, Linda S. Wilson of Millmont; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Becky, Angie, Pam, Kathy, Mark, and Rodney; 10 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, L. Jean Kline; one great granddaughter, Brittany Mook; two brothers, Robert and James Bilger; and six sisters, May Bilger, Leona Kendall, Martha Showers, Maude Callenberger, Helen Showers, and Doris Swinehart.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
