Ruth E. Boney Fenstermacher, 85, Lewisburg

Ruth Edna Boney Fenstermacher, 85, formerly of 141 Paul L. Dr., from 1986 - 2008, entered into rest at 3:05 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Riverwoods, where she had been a resident since April 2009.

She was born February 25, 1926, in Buffalo Township, a daughter of the late William Edward and Edna S. (Hanselman) Aikey. On June 23, 1948, she married Bruce Boney. He preceded her in death October 25, 1985. She then married Louis H. Fenstermacher on December 13, 1994. He preceded her in death May 24, 2008.

Ruth was a 1942 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed at Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, for many years.

Ruth was a member of the Millmont United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher.

Ruth was a cub scout den mother for many years. She was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing at her home.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce, Jr. and Seon Boney of Sterling, VA, Mark and Patty Boney of Lewisburg, and Michael and Beverly Boney of New Columbia; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sharon and Clair Brown of Lewisburg, Hilda and George Eister of Lewisburg, and Beverly Folk of Mifflinburg; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Aikey; and one sister, Dorothy Smith.

Family and friends are welcome from 11 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at noon with Pastor Fred Yarger, officiating.

Burial will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
