Sandra Y. Sauers

Sandra Y. Sauers, 82, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 5:53 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born July 15, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Elmer and Phyllis (Beinlich) Reichley. In 1993, she married James F. Sauers, who preceded her in death April 13, 2023.

Sandra attended Selinsgrove High School.

She was employed at New Quaker Industries, Lewisburg and Mifflinburg, for many years, and at Paper Magic, Elysburg.

Sandra was a member of the Middlecreek Antique Association, Selinsgrove.

She enjoyed square dancing, baking, socializing, attending flea markets and farmer's markets, and a love for children, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Lisa Bowersox of Selinsgrove, and Michael Bowersox and his companion Meggan Kantz of Shamokin Dam; one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jeff Holdren of Carthage, North Carolina; one step-son Tony Sauers and his companion Letty Clemens of Millmont; one step-daughter, Jackie and her husband Mark Trutt of Mifflinburg; three grandchildren, Russel Bowersox, Eden Delosier, and Owen Bowersox; six step-grandchildren, Lucretia Irvine, Bryan Fisher, Tony Sauers, Tia Harvey, and Kelsey Sauers; five step-great grandchildren, Nicholas Irvine, Skylar Irvine, Willow Harvey, Braycen Harvey, and Finnley Sauers; one step great-great granddaughter, Lillianna Ulrich; two brothers and one sister-in-law, John Reichley of Watsontown, and Russell and Darry Reichley of Dewart; and four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Lou Geiswite of Mifflintown, Sharon Woolsey of Winfield, Linda and Bob Brattain of Cambridge City, Indiana, and Emma and William Buck of Winfield.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
