Scotty D. Straub

Scotty D. Straub, 61, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 1:21 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at his home.

He was born April 22, 1962, in Hardin County, Kentucky, a son of the late Charles R. and Ethel Mae (Boop) Straub.

Scotty was a 1980 graduate of West Snyder High School.

He served in the Marine Corp from 1981 until his honorable discharge in 1988.

Scotty was employed in home construction.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Scotty was a member of the Milton VFW Post 1665 and the Lewisburg American Legion Post 182.

Surviving are his significant other, Charlotte Camp; one son Julian Straub of Middleburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Gwen Straub of Middleburg; two half-brothers, Bruce and his wife Deb Britton of Williamsport, and Lamar Britton of Montana; one half-sister, Rhonda Britton of New Columbia; 3 grandchildren; and his loving dog, Brutus.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
