Seth E. Byler, 68, Laurelton
Seth Eli Byler, 68, of 1395 State Route 235, for the past 25 years, formerly of Pulaski, entered into rest at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2014, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born December 22, 1945, in Enon Valley, a son of the late Ben and Elizabeth (Yoder) Byler. On August 11, 1973, in New Castle, he married the former Lois M. Hoover, who survives.
Seth earned his G.E.D. In 1985.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Mifflinburg.
In addition to working as a farmer his entire life, Seth was employed as a mechanic at Super Service Garage, Beavertown.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored. Seth also enjoyed the outdoors and carpentry.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 41 years, are two daughters, Loretta Byler of Mifflinburg, and Leisa Byler of Laurelton; four grandchildren, Dakota Sheesley of Mifflinburg, Kaitlyn Stahl of Laurelton, Jadyn Tyson of Mifflinburg, and McKenzie Stahl of Laurelton; two brothers, Eli Byler and Andy Byler; and two sisters, Amelia Tinc, and Anna Byler.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Elizabeth Tyson.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, at the Assembly of God Church, 1001 Market St., Mifflinburg, with Pastor Johnny Blake, officiating.
Burial will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in memory of Seth to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701
