Stanley Keister

Stanley F. Keister, 86, a lifelong resident of White Springs, entered into eternal life onFriday, November 1, 2019, at home.

He was born in 1932, a son of the late Francis F. and Grace K. Keister. On March 22, 1952, he married the former Marilyn Sauers, who preceded him in death November 1, 2011. On October 3, 2014, he married Sylvia Replogle.

Stanley was a 1950 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was an active member and lay leader of the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren, Mifflinburg.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Sharon K. and Jim Williams of Norristown and Brian D. and Donita Keister of Mifflinburg; three sisters, Kathryn Gearhart of Lewisburg, Shirley Catherman of Lewisburg, and Mary Jane Benner of Mifflinburg; five granddaughters and their spouses: Rebecca Keister, Danielle and Brian Sommers, Mary and James Gorham, Jamie and Daniel Manbeck, and Nicole Walter; honorary granddaughter,Michelle and Peter Herman and daughter Emily; and five great grandchildren: James, Micah, Jonathan, Clara, and Layanna.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 6–8 p.m. at the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren, 46 Brethren Church Rd., Mifflinburg, where the memorial service and burial will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts will be received by the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren, 46 Brethren Church Rd., Mifflinburg, PA 17844.
