Stephen P. Guay, 53, of New Berlin, entered into rest Monday, July 29, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born January 9, 1966, in Fall River, Massachusetts, a son of Carolyn (Souza) McHale and the late Robert Guay. On July 16, 1983, he married the former Angela M. Solomon, who survives.
Stephen was a 1983 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
He was employed at New Columbia Joist Company as a welder, and most recently worked in maintenance and repair at R.B. Winter State Park.
Stephen was a member of the Union County Sportsmens Club, and an avid, lifelong Patriots fan.
He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin, being outdoors hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, spending time with his dog Jake, and he took pride in all that he did.
Stephen will be remembered for his love and dedication to his wife and family.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Shawn Guay of South Williamsport; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Alex Bogler of South Williamsport; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Lori Guay of Rhode Island, and Anthony and Candice McHale of Connecticut; one sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Blaine Dunkle of Mifflinburg; and mother-in-law, Bonnie Solomon.
He was preceded in death by one step-father, John McHale.
A celebration of Stephen’s life will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
